A to Z Mysteries - The Absent Author   By Ron Roy

This was one of my favorite book when I was little. I really recommend the series.

And here is how the story goes...

Dink's full name was Donald David Duncan. But no one in Green Lawn(the town he lives in) ever called him that except his mother.

Dink writes to his favorite mystery author, Wallis Wallace and invites him to visit Green Lawn.

The writer said yes and also added that the only way he won't come is if he's kidnapped.

The day he promised he'd come came and he was nowhere to be found.

The police think he just missed his plane but Dink suspects foul play and than decided to look for him with his best friends, Josh and Ruth Rose.

At the end they found out that he was not kidnapped but they found out something else that was very shocking.

Don't want any spoiler alert so I'm just going to leave it there.
